In 2009, they moved to Oakland from Philadelphia on a whim, in search of a new city to call home. They fell in love immediately with the friendly people, beautiful landscape and amazing food. There was just one thing they found themselves longing for (aside from warm summer nights): amazing bagels! Armed with our culinary experience, love of food and desire to work together, they decided to open their own bagel shop and bring old-school, traditional bagels to the Bay Area.<br /><br />The bagels at </span></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;">Beauty's Bagel Shop</span></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;"> are Montreal-style, which means they are hand-rolled, boiled in honey water and baked in a wood-fired oven, resulting in a bagel that is soft in texture with a perfectly crunchy crust, a slight sweetness and a hint of smoke. Prepared with organic ingredients and baked in small batches throughout the day, there will always be a fresh, warm bagel waiting for you.<br /><br />Here are the final logos Sedso Design developed for Beauty's Bagel Shop...<br /><br /></span></span><img style="width: 400px; height: 517px;" src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e325/entrancu/BeautysBagelShop_Logo.jpg" alt="Beauty's Bagel Shop,Sedso Design,Logo Design" border="0" /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;"><br /><br />Menu, Signage & Website Design are in the process of being developed...<br /></span></span>Sedso Design Grouphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16831093767773017895noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-691219409031811575.post-66457744432499801642011-10-31T12:36:00.002-04:002011-10-31T12:40:18.585-04:00American Mortals - Hair-O-In Animation<span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;">Sedso Design recently created a Flash animation in collaboration with David Bond of <a href="http://americanmortals.com/">American Mortals</a>. This not-yet-named, 200-seat restaurant is set to open in early 2011 and will feature a modern twist on traditional Japanese dishes. Sedso created a variety of graphics to tease the opening of the new Starr restaurant. A 15 x 25 foot barricade was erected to hide the construction process within the space and we created large format graphics to cover this wall as well as postcards and pop-up banners for promotional purposes. Without a name or logo for the restaurant, the challenge was to design in such a way that gives the sense of a Japanese feeling while remaining somewhat ambiguous.<br /><br /><img style="width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e325/entrancu/StarrRestaurants_BalHarbour_Wall_Graphic_Photo.jpg" alt="Starr Restautants,Bal Harbour Shops,Japanese Restaurant,Sedso Design" border="0" /><br />Large Format </span></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;">Barricade </span></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;">Graphic - Photo by Chris Kilayko of <a href="http://www.mediascend.com/">Mediascend</a><br /><br /><img style="width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e325/entrancu/StarrRestaurants_BalHarbour_Wall_Graphic_Before_After.jpg" alt="Starr Restautants,Bal Harbour Shops,Japanese Restaurant,Sedso Design" border="0" /><br />Before / After - Digital Rendering<br /><br /><img style="width: 400px; height: 193px;" src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e325/entrancu/StarrRestaurants_BalHarbour_Postcard_RetractibleBanner.jpg" alt="Starr Restautants,Bal Harbour Shops,Japanese Restaurant,Sedso Design" border="0" /><br />Postcard & Retractable Banner Graphics<br /><br /></span></span>Sedso Design Grouphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16831093767773017895noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-691219409031811575.post-48026390745112310382010-09-18T13:07:00.003-04:002010-09-18T13:26:35.036-04:00Starr Restaurant's Pop-Up Restaurant Series - Email Blast + Identity Design<span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-family:arial;"><a href="http://www.starr-restaurant.com/">Starr Restaurant's</a> has launched another event as part of the pop-up restaurant series.
